The knee joint is a hinge and should only track forward and backward. Lateral motion can be introduced when tendons and ligaments get injured, strained or overly tight from exercise. When these happen, the knee is pulled out of alignment and requires the additional stability provided by itBandz.

How to wear itBandz

PREP

itBandz wrap around the knee just below the kneecap. Wear them next to your skin or over your running/workout pants.

POSITION

Center ItBandz at the front of your knee with the bump up!

FASTEN

itBandz unique fastening system allows you to easily control the amount of tension the knee band provides so you can enjoy the amount of pressure that suits you.

ItBandz should be snug with no gaps but not constrictive.

How to care for itBandz

WIPE AND GO

The easist way to clean and disinfect your itBandz is to give them a quick wipe with a sanitizing cloth.

HAND WASH

If you don’t have a wipe handy or you just finished a Tough Mudder, hand wash with soap and water. We don’t recommend putting them in the washing machine as the velcro could snag other clothes.

HANG DRY

After hand washing, lay flat or hang dry.
